Calcium


  • Our bodies consist of about 2.5 lbs of calcium most within bones and teeth.
  • Calcium works together with saturated fat, the enzyme phosphotase, vitamin D, vitamin K2 and magnesium for building our skeletal structure and maintaining bone health.
  • important in the prevention of colon cancer.
  • necessary for fat and protein digestion and energy, the transmission of nerve impulses, and production of hormones and enzymes.
  • aids in the absorption of B12.
  • along with magnesium, it helps with the contraction and relaxation of muscles.
  • regulates heartbeat and controls blood pressure.
  • helps build connective tissues.
